Today our adventure in south Italy starts with the historic site of Pompeii, the city that was buried under the ashes of Mount Vesuvius. We’ll take our lunch break where you can try the probably best Pizza in Italy. In the afternoon we climb Mount Vesuvius and enjoy the breathtaking view from the top of the vulcano. We head further down south to Positano and explore the Grotta dello Smeraldo, where you can put on your swimsuit and jump into the Meditarreanean. Scala is our destination for the next two days where we experience southern Italian hospitality and the beautiful Amalfi coast. A cultural and culinaric day is ahead of us as we discover the historic city of Amalfi, sample pastries at the oldest Pasticceria of Amalfi, shop and taste Limocello on our way back to the hotel. We finish our trip with the greek temples of Paestum and a delicious dinner on the coast before it’s time to say farewell.
